If, when the Acer America provided IEEE 1394 combo-drive is connected to notebook, it is not being seen by Windows XP upon power on, please disconnect the combo-drive from the system prior to powering the notebook. Once Windows loads, plug in the AC adapter for the combo-drive then connect the combo-drive to the IEEE 1394 port. |
