The computer's power management system automatically dims your screen when using the battery, which is one of the power-saving features. You have two options to control the brightness of the LCD as listed below.
To adjust the brightness for a specific time frame and keep the auto-dim power consumption feature:
- Hold down the Fn Key located at bottom left of your keyboard next to the Ctrl key, and adjust the screen brightness using the up/down arrow keys located at the bottom right of the keyboard.
To adjust brightness to the maximum at all times:
- Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel
- Go to Tablet and Pen Settings
- Click on the Display tab
- Adjust the screen brightness setting for each power scheme. You have the option to set Max. brightness under "When plugged in" and "Powered by Batteries". Choose the desired brightness by dragging the slider to the left or to the right.
Note: Brightening the LCD screen will decrease the amount of time you can use your Tablet PC on battery power. You can conserve battery power by decreasing the screen brightness on your tablet computer. |
