The following article details information on removing Acer TimeMachine that shipped with the system. Acer TimeMachine functions are now built into Windows Millenium Edition. Please complete the following prior to upgrading.
To uninstall Acer TimeMachine follow these steps:
- From Windows, click on Start, Settings, Control Panel.
- Double click the Add/Remove programs Icon.
- Under the Install/Uninstall tab highlight TimeMachine, then click the Add/Remove button.
- When asked "You are about to uninstall Acer TimeMachine. You will lose all your snapshots. Are you sure you want to uninstall Acer TimeMachine?", click Yes.
- The program will be uninstalled.
- At the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box click OK.
